Storybird

Wow, I just had a go at making a storybird. It is so much fun and really makes you think about the format, intended audience and layout. Plus you get instant results! You could use these in class as a fantastic way to study children's books - there are so many public storybirds to read, plus you can comment on them. You can look at what makes a good narrative, which layouts work best, what is the purpose/moral of the story, and so on. I recommend you have a go at creating one, even if it is a bit silly (like my first attempt!) It's a lot of fun and a great new way to incorporate digital literacy in the classroom.
